What Philanthropy Should Know About the U.S. Global Health Initiative
January 27, 2010
Jen Kates (Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation) moderated a discussion with Chris Collins (amfAR) and Serra Sippel (Center for Health and Gender Equity) on the role of private philanthropy in the future funding landscape as defined by the GHI. More than 40 grantmakers dialed in for a timely conversation on the issues and questions that still remain in the NGO and funder community regarding the Initiative. Co-hosted by FCAA and the Funders Network on Population, Reproductive Health and Rights, this funders-only briefing was a collaborative first step in monitoring U.S. Global Health Policy, and its impact on grantmakers and grantees.
