The Future of PEPFAR: What Should Funders Know?

FCAA’s new 2013-2015 Strategic Plan includes a commitment to highlighting evidence-based approaches and shared frameworks that can help increase the impact of the private philanthropic response to HIV/AIDS.

Our first webinar focused on this goal turned the spotlight on the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). In February 2013 the Institute of Medicine (IOM) released the results of its four-year evaluation of PEPFAR, noting the program’s “transformative role in the global response to HIV”.

This in-depth discussion of the report’s findings focused on what they mean for private funders and impacted populations.
