The Role of Philanthropy in Ending AIDS in America

Announced in June of 2014 by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, the NYS Plan was developed to identify, track, and treat people with HIV with the aim to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in New York by 2020. The Governor’s office also created a multi-stakeholder task force (The Ending the Epidemic Task Force) that recently delivered its comprehensive plan this past month.

This moderated conversation will bring together key members of the Task Force, as well as a leading philanthropic funder in the state, to review the status of the Plan and brainstorm opportunities for philanthropic involvement. Extended time for Q&A will be provided.
