Funder Briefing: Responding to the Mpox Outbreak
Named a public health emergency in the U.S. in early August, Mpox (monkeypox) continues to disproportionately impact the LGBTQ+ community, particularly men who have sex with men (MSM), as well as those living with HIV.
On this funder webinar – co-sponsored by FCAA, Funders for LGBTQ Issues and Grantmakers In Health – we will bring together activists, researchers, and funders to discuss the critical role philanthropy can play in:
- Addressing stigma
- Supporting prevention outreach and vaccine equity
- Providing unrestricted support to community-led organizations engaged in the response.
This briefing will be open only to representatives of public and private funding organizations.
