Sarah Hamilton

Sarah oversees FCAA’s programming, communications, and development. Over the past decade, she has helped to devise and implement significant initiatives related to research, peer collaboration, and convenings. She has played an integral role in growing FCAA’s resource tracking initiative, working to enable funders to identify where their resources would best be utilized. By launching and rolling out an ongoing series of data visualizations, she has also helped make these analyses easily accessible to a variety of stakeholder audiences.

Her efforts to plan FCAA’s annual AIDS Philanthropy Summit, along with several smaller virtual and in person events throughout the year, have helped to measurably increase member attendance and engagement. She conducted a comprehensive overhaul of the organization’s website, and helped to manage collaborations with various peer organizations, such as FRE, Human Rights Funders Network, Funders for LGBTQ Issues, and Planned Parenthood, among others. In addition, she has demonstrably increased FCAA’s blog content, earned media coverage, and social media engagement.

Prior to FCAA, Sarah was a Senior Associate at Rabin Strategic Partners (now Rabin Martin), a leading international health public affairs firm. There, she worked for both non-profit and for-private clients including Columbia University and Johnson & Johnson.

Sarah currently lives in Spokane, Washington where she is the Interim Board Chair of the Spokane AIDS Network.
